The plan utilizes the length of the building by further dividing the long side of the building into a plan and roof. On the other hand, to achieve a compact floor plan, a central corridor design was adopted. Nursery rooms, playrooms, and staff rooms are located along the walkway and terrace on the garden side, while the kitchen, storage, and temporary childcare room (hereinafter referred to as "temporary childcare") are planned on the road side of the central corridor. By changing the angle between the garden side and the road side, the temporary childcare room and play corner become focal points when viewed from the entrance towards the depth of the central corridor, making them easily noticeable spaces. Furthermore, furniture integrating storage and benches, as well as playrooms and play corners that can be used integrally with the corridor, are placed along the central corridor, allowing the corridor to be utilized as a space for mixed-age childcare. In addition, the central corridor is designed to meander along the building's line, allowing diverse light to enter through high-side windows, creating a space that changes with the light throughout the day. In the exterior design, the entrance is positioned parallel to the road to create a safe approach that prevents children from directly running into the road, and the loading yard is designed with a flow plan that ensures easy loading while separating pedestrians and vehicles. The roof shape is designed to blend seamlessly with the mountain range of Mount Ibuki, with varying heights at the top of the single-slope roof on the garden side, naturally creating a gable shape on the road side.
